Rules and Regulations

  • The school is a second home for the students. The teachers love the students as their own children and work for their welfare and success. The students too should in turn reciprocate this love and trust. This will create an atmosphere conducive for the right type of education and make the school life happy.
  •  Order is necessary for harmonious social life and rules which help us to maintain order. Hence we should all respect and obey the rules in the right spirit. If obeyed out of love, the rules will never be a burden, but the best safeguard for the achievement of our objectives. So the students are exhorted to obey the rules cheerfully and with conviction.
  •  No pupil shall leave the school premises during the school hours without previous permission from the Principal. Late comers should get the late attendance record signed by the Principal before they enter the class.
  •  Children are not allowed to buy edibles from the vendors inside or outside the campus.
  •  Pupils shall be responsible for the safe custody of their books and other belongings. Their names shall be inscribed on all their articles. Money should not be lent or borrowed or articles exchanged.
  • The students should not wear gold ornaments in the school.
  • Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is strictly forbidden. When passing along the corridors during the class hours, students shall keep silence.
  • No games are permitted in the morning recesses, and during the noon interval.
  • Cycles must be kept locked in the parking place provided. Students must not ride within the compound.
  • Nobody should enter other’s classrooms. Change of place in one’s own classroom is permitted only with the class teacher’s permission.
  • No books, periodicals, pictures or newspapers except those allowed by the school shall be brought to school nor circulated without the permission of the Principal.
  • Students should get their progress report cards signed by their parents/ guardians and return them to the class teachers within three days of receipt.
  • Students and parents should not offer any presents or gifts to the teachers except with explicit permission from the Principal.
  • All are expected to use only English language in the compound.
  • The students should be humble and polite in speech and behaviour everywhere.
  • They should be courteous and respectful towards parents and elders.
  • The school organises different kinds of co-curricular activities, aimed at the all round development of the personality of the pupils. All should actively and whole heartedly participate in the programmes and draw maximum advantage.
  • The students should make good and proper use of the wellequipped school library. They can borrow books on the date fixed, but should return them within the stipulated period of time. They should handle the books carefully. Any damage to books or loss will entail due compensation. Library books should not be exchanged among students or outsiders.
  • The students should treat the school and its property as their own. Any deliberate damage will have to be made good.
  • The school fee is collected in 3 instalments (July, October, January) As far as possible, all payments should be done on the first week of the prescribed months.
  • There will be 2 terminal examinations and 2 mid -term tests every year. All should take the examinations seriously. Promotion to higher standards is based solely on the performance in the examinations. Perfect order and discipline should be maintained in the examinations. Any malpractice will call for stern disciplinary actions.
  • The decision of the Principal will be final in all cases.
